Yale instead of Dartmouth?! I may be biased, but bad choice, Dan
Dan takes Italian? Hot. Regains points lost above
“When I was young, Buchowski put a shotglass on my head and blew it off with a pistol” –creepy alcoholic writer mentor. Umm ok…
“You’re lucky I’m bored” –chuck
“Don’t they know that without me they’d never see the inside of a fashion tent? They’d be stuck behind the barrier with PETA!”—Blair, priceless as usual
Purple is HOT this season! A lovely lavender was sported this episode by Eleanor and twice by Lily (loved her purple dress at the end!). Have changed our background to purple; must keep up with trends!
Scene in the bar with chuck and Dan—does it look to anyone else like chuck seems to be from a different century than Dan? Like he just stumbled out of some turn of the century gangster movie?
Will Jenny get kicked out of school? Does anyone really care about this story line?
“Who knew there was a sex club behind the White castle?” –Dan
His writing storyline may not be a whole lot more interesting than Jenny’s, but am relieved to see Dan have a non-Serena storyline
“Twins find me”—chuck
“Charlie Trout” Really Dan, and we thought you were creative.
“Don’t you have socks to darn?”—Blair
Chuck’s jail confessions (father blames him for death of mother) seems a bit cliché, but nice to see chuck acting semi like a human being
Is Blair so angry at Jenny and Serena that she would completely sabotage all her mother’s hard work with no remorse? Considering she is constantly seeking her mother’s approval, this seems a bit over the top...
Uh oh--chuck found Dan's story! claims he was lying about his mother dying at his birth. Wouldn’t put compulsive lying past chuck, so I give it 50/50 odds that the story is true
“I’ll look for it in Reader’s Digest. I can use it to prop up my Pulitzers” -Alcoholic writer dude again, on Dan’s lame stories. Hahaha
After this build up, Lily's secret better be pretty damn good!
And finally…BLAIR AND SERENA THROWDOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kinda disapointing. Very short, and more emotional than bitchy. I don’t for a second think this is the last confrontation between the two queens. I guess it really goes to show how muted Serena has been while she was with Dan. She does have a point though—Blair needs to get a handle on the little green monster.
